How to Delete a Gmail Account & Google Account

You can delete your Google account at any time. But there is no guarantee that you can restore it afterward. All user data will be deleted, including emails, calendars, files, and photos.

Delete Gmail Account

Enter your Gmail account via Google.com.
Type the grid icon in the upper right-hand corner and choose “Account”.
Choose the “Data and privacy” on the left menu.
At the end of the page, choose “Data from apps and services you use”.
Under “Download or delete your data”, type “Delete a google service”.
Next, go to Google and type “Delete”.
Input your alternative email (but it cannot be Gmail).

How to Delete a Gmail Account on an Android Phone

Enter Android Settings at the bottom of the page and click Google.
Tap “Manage your Google account”. In the section “Data & personalization”, select “Delete a service or your account”.

Deletion of Google Account
