Doples virus: what is known so far?

☝️ A scientifically accurate description for the Doples is “a ransomware-type malicious agent”.

Doples appends its own .dople extension to the title of each encoded file. For example, an image entitled “photo.jpg” will be changed to “photo.jpg.dople”. Likewise, the Excel sheet named “table.xlsx” will be changed to “table.xlsx.dople”, and so on.

In each folder with the encrypted files, a _readme.txt text file will appear. It is a ransom money note. It contains information on the ways of paying the ransom and some other information.
